Conference Table, 48" x 96", Anigre veneers & Cherry solids, 1999, collection of The Minneapolis Foundation. The veneered parquetry surface shows an abstract flow of grain moving from one end of the table and encountering the other end. The field or background veneers intersect the flow to give strongly contrasting grain direction and lustre at their intersection.
