Thomas Schrunk / Chicken Table

 

 

Three Legged Chicken, 54" x 56", Cherry, Figured Maple, & Bloodwood veneers & solids, 2001, private collection. This table is on lockable casters, with wings which extend flat of fold flat with the body and a tail that can be horizontal, upright (illustrated), or in a semi-folded state. It appeared at the Northern Woods show at Southdale in 2001, where one of the judges complained, How do you judge a Chicken Table??
